69 Games Companies in Slovakia Generated €70m in 2023
In 2023, the Slovak games industry experienced a decline for the first time. The total turnover decreased from €77.1m in 2022 to €70m. This year it is expected to reach €70.3m. According to the Slovak Game Developers Association, the local industry was not significantly affected by layoffs and studio closures, although the number of employees fell from 1080 to 1017.
