Working With Many Licensors - an Interview With Arthur Parsons of 10:10 Games
In the case of Funko Fusion, 10:10 Games worked with numerous licensors to integrate franchises such as Jurassic World, Jaws, Invincible and Mega Man. We spoke to Arthur Parsons, Head of Publishing and co-founder of the developer, about working with multiple licensors and the challenges this presents, and the challenges it presents.
10:10 Games, in partnership with Funko Inc, Universal Products & Experiences and Skybound Games, has launched the game Funko Fusion for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam (PC) in September 2024. It will be released for PlayStation 4 on 15 November and digitally for Nintendo Switch in December, followed by a physical release for Nintendo Switch in March 2025. The crossover action-adventure game, inspired by the Funko Pop! figures, features levels, quests and references to popular NBC Universal franchises including Jurassic World, Jaws, Back to the Future, The Thing, Hot Fuzz, Chucky, Battlestar Galactica, Masters of the Universe and more. Even Skybound Entertainment's Invincible and Capcom's Mega Man can be found in Funko Fusion. A wild mix of old and new franchises for old and young. In addition, 10:10 Games, in partnership with Funko, Inc. and Universal Products & Experiences, today released two new DLC packs for Funko Fusion to mark the release of Universal Pictures' Wicked.
