Remedy Signs Partnership with Annapurna for Control 2 and Film Adaptation of Control & Alan Wake

Remedy Entertainment has announced a strategic partnership with Annapurna Pictures. The company will fund 50 per cent of the development budget for the upcoming Control 2 game and will receive the rights to expand the Control and Alan Wake franchises into film and television. "Remedy will receive a greater revenue share from game sales after the initial investments have been recouped, proportional to the amounts invested. Conversely, Annapurna will receive a greater revenue share from the audiovisual productions," the Finnish company said. The stock market has responded to the deal with confidence. The share price is currently up ten per cent on the previous day.
