Xbox Games Showcase 2024: All in One Place, From Doom to Fable to Gears of War
Microsoft showcased its full range of products at the Xbox Games Showcase. As well as new games from the Gears of War and Doom franchises, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and other AAA titles were showcased in detail. Third-party titles such as Assassin's Creed Shadows, Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Metal Gear Solid Delta were also shown. Three new Xbox Series X|S consoles will also be launched in autumn.
Microsoft deliberately held back from the opening show of Summer Game Fest 2024, opting to make a statement with its own Xbox Games Showcase. Gears of War: E-Day and Doom: The Dark Ages were announced and State of Decay 3, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Perfect Dark, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Avowed and South of Midnight were shown in more detail. At the same time, Microsoft announced three new Xbox Series X|S console options for autumn 2024: The Xbox Series S 1TB in Carbon Black for 349,99 Euros, the all-digital Xbox Series X without a disc drive for 499,99 Euros (Xbox Series X - 1TB Digital Edition) and the Xbox Series X - 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition for 649,99 Euros.
