Hooded Horse Celebrates a Summer of Releases and Milestones
Strategy game publisher Hooded Horse has provided a look at their latest sales figures and Steam wishlists. Menace, from Overhype Studios in Hamburg, is also doing well, with over 230,000 wishlists.
Hooded Horse is celebrating a successful summer as it gears up for gamescom. Medieval kingdom builder Norland (Early Access) sold over 185,000 copies in its first two weeks, while Cataclismo (Early Accss) crossed the 120,000 copies threshold in the same period after its launch. This follows on from two Early Access graduations in June, where Empires of the Undergrowth and Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic enjoyed successful 1.0 launches, with both games hitting all-time high concurrent user Counts (6,367 and 8,264). Manor Lords has already sold over two million copies since its release in April.
Turning to wishlists: Hooded Horse's portfolio as a whole has had over nine million wishlist additions over the past one year period. The recently announced cat-and-mouse city-building game Whiskerwood has nearly hit 50,000 wishlists three weeks since its reveal. The sci-fi deckbuilding game Breachway has over 160,000 wishlists, management/tycoon game Blacksmith Master has cleared 200,000 wishlists. Menace, the new game from the developers of Battle Brothers (from Overhype Studios in Hamburg), has also cleared 230,000 wishlists, almost a year since it was first announced at gamescom 2023.
Speaking of gamescom, Hooded Horse will be heading to Cologne. Breachway will be there with an updated demo build at the Indie Arena Booth, and Overhype Studios will be showing off the latest from Menace in behind-closed-doors sessions.
