CipSoft's new MMO: Benjamin Zuckerer on Persist Online

Since 1997, the MMORPG Tibia has been CipSoft's flagship product. This year, the long-established German company announced its second MMO: Persist Online. GamesMarkt spoke to Benjamin Zuckerer, Lead Product Manager and Managing Director, about how the idea for the game came about, how the game is being shaped and what the first feedback has been since the announcement.

CipSoft is best known for its MMO Tibia, which was released in 1997 (!) and is still running successfully today. This year, the Regensburg-based company has announced its second MMO: Persist Online. It features a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested open-world sandbox. Every building is accessible, and a dynamic day/night cycle can have a real impact on gameplay.
