Amazon Gets Industry Veteran J Allard on Board
J Allard, a long-standing Microsoft manager, is working for Amazon in its Devices and Services team. Amazon confirmed this to a US media outlet that had become aware of the change through social media.
There is no official press release. However, this is not unusual, as Amazon rarely comments on new hires and employee departures. Accordingly, there is currently no information available on which specific projects Allard is working on at Amazon, except that he works for the Devices and Services Division, which is responsible for Alexa and the Echo devices, but is also responsible for a variety of other products and services.
