Around 10,000 Visitors at Level Up 2024 in Salzburg
The fourth edition of Level Up - The Gaming Festival took place on 29 and 30 June at the Salzburg Exhibition Centre and attracted around 10,000 visitors. The organisers are delighted. The gaming event will return in 2025.
The main stage at Level Up 2024 was all about esports. Competitions were held in games such as Rocket League, Counter Strike 2 and Super Smash Bros. A new addition was SheRivals: Queens of Austria. This League of Legends show match pitted the female teams of NNO Prime and SK Gaming against each other. Both Level Up and Morekats wanted to set an example for more diversity and visibility of women in esports. Project Manager Lena Braito: "At Level Up we are very passionate about diversity. That's why this year, for the first time, we organised an all-female tournament together with our long-term partners Morekats Gaming. Our goal is to inspire young women and girls and change traditional role models."
